The enrichment system also works as a fast idle for cold engines. The maindifference between Super E and Super G carbs is the size of the carburetor bore. TheSuper E’s smaller 17⁄8" (47.6mm) bore size creates higher air velocity, resulting inbetter low and midrange response and power. Super E carbs are recommended forengines up to 100" displacement. Due to the Super G’s larger 21/16" (52.4mm) boresize, it is recommended for engines of 100" or greater.The complete S&S Super E & G carburetor kits contain everything you need for atypical installation. These kits include manifolds for engines with stock lengthcylinders.
