Cover the coils on MIG sets thatare not used, to avoid any contamination ofthe wire surface.RustAny signs of rust on the wire, indicates thatstorage and handling conditions have notbeen appropriate. Rusted wires should bescrapped.During longer down time periods, returnpartly used coils in their original packagingand store under above describedconditions.119
