TIFFIN MOTORHOMES –ALLEGRO <strong>RED</strong>® Chapter 6 STRUCTURAL FEATURESChassis FeaturesThe chassis of your <strong>Tiffin</strong> <strong>Motorhomes</strong> <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong> will be built by and is warranted by Powerglide.The operating instructions for your specific chassis are included in the Chassis Owner’s <strong>Manual</strong> which isprovided with your <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong> and is a part of the Owner’s Information Package furnished to you by your<strong>Tiffin</strong> <strong>Motorhomes</strong> Dealership.Before you begin using your <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong>, please read and follow all recommendations for the proper care,operation, and maintenance of the chassis—this will assure you of pleasant, trouble-free use of your motor home.Should you have any questions about the chassis, however, you should contact your chassis manufacturer asnoted in the literature described earlier.TYPICAL CHASSIS ITEMS COVE<strong>RED</strong> UNDER WARRANTY BY THE CHASSIS MANUFACTURERSteering WheelSteering SystemInstrument PanelEngineTransmissionChassis FrameAxlesFuel TankSuspension and Springs (Front-End Alignment is not covered)Tires and WheelsBrakesExhaust SystemLeaf SpringsAlignmentThe <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong> motor home you have purchased has been aligned at the factory prior to shipment to you.During the first 10,000 miles of operation of your <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong>, the chassis will have a tendency to “settle” andreadjust itself in response to the loading of your motor home.Although it normally is not necessary to realign the <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong> before the first 10,000 miles of use; it is, nonetheless,recommended that you have the <strong>Allegro</strong> <strong>RED</strong> alignment checked after the first loading of the motor home. However,if you feel that you have noted some discrepancy or anomaly in steering operation, please contact your chassismanufacturer or call <strong>Tiffin</strong> Customer Service at (256) 356-0261 to address your concerns.6-2
