TIFFIN MOTORHOMES –ALLEGRO <strong>RED</strong>® Chapter 13 ROUTINE MAINTENANCEWheel CareThe care and maintenance of your wheel liners are simple and require no special material or products; simply follow thedirections included in the Owner’s Information Package for these wheel liners (or the optional Alcoa aluminum wheels).Timely care and cleaning will maintain the appearance of these wheel products for many years.ImportantDo not use harsh detergents, acids, or abrasives which may scratch ordull the surfaces. The applicator cloth, sponge, or soft-bristled brushshould be nonmetallic and non-abrasive.ImportantRemember to check periodically the tightness of your wheel lug nuts.Roof Care and MaintenanceProper care and maintenance of your motor home, including your roof, is important for sustained, trouble-freeperformance. Normal maintenance is simple and easy and does not require special materials.The roof of the motor home is fiberglass and can be cared for in the conventional manner. Keep the roof clean; oneshould clean the roof at least every three months. The roof should be professionally inspected on an annual basis forleaks. Sealant may be necessary in the second year of ownership.WarningUse caution when working on the top of your motor home. The wet roof may beextremely slippery and, as such, a possible safety hazard.13-5
