CH-TRAMPAC Document Rev. 2, May 2005• The total concentration of potentially flammable VOCs within the payload containerheadspace is less than or equal to 500 ppm, but the decay heat loading of the payloadcontainer exceeds the analytical limit for the shipping category of the payload container.Waste Types I (10), II (20), and III (30) belong in this category.• A waste form does not have a fully characterized bounding G value from previoussampling or waste stream analysis. Waste Type IV (40) belongs in this category.For test category payload containers of Waste Types I (10), II (20), and III (30), the complianceevaluation for flammable (gas/VOC) limits may be based on measurement of the headspace gas,as described in Section 5.2.5.3.If compliance with the flammable (gas/VOC) limits cannot be demonstrated by measurement orthe payload container is Waste Type IV (40), the compliance evaluation for flammable(gas/VOC) limits may be based on the results of testing, as described in Section 5.2.5.4.The implementation of compliance methods summarized above for flammable (gas/VOC) limitsis detailed in Sections 5.2.2.1 through 5.2.2.5 and illustrated in Figure 5.2-1 through Figure5.2-5.5.2-2
