This has <strong>to</strong> be imported as crude <strong>and</strong>refined in<strong>to</strong> petrol, kerosene, diesel, aviation gas, <strong>and</strong> heavy fuel oil. Petroleumhas <strong>to</strong> be imported at international prices, transported through a 1500 kmpipeline <strong>to</strong> the refinery in Ndola. The refinery has a processing capacity <strong>of</strong> 1.0 million<strong>to</strong>ns per year.
