Copley DeviceNet Programmer’s Guide Amplifier Configuration Using CME 22.3: Configure DeviceNet Address and Baud RateA DeviceNet network can support up to 64 nodes. Each node must have a unique andvalid seven-bit address (Node ID) in the range of 0-63.1 Verify that the DeviceNet bus has been cabled and terminated. Copley DeviceNetcabling and connection is identical to Copley CAN cabling and connection. See theamplifier’s CAN cabling and connection documentation.2 On the CME 2 Main screen, choose AmplifierCAN/DeviceNet Configuration.(Note that options may vary based onamplifier model and configuration.)3 Choose a Bit Rate and choose any combination of address sources (Switch, Inputs, andProgrammed Value). The address is the sum of the values from these sources.4 For each source selected, perform the additional steps described below.SourceAdditional StepsUse SwitchUse InputsUse Programmed ValueVerify the S1 switch setting. (Assigns values for Bit 0 – Bit 3 of address.)Enter the Number of inputs.
