SCOPE OF <strong>RULES</strong> - ONE FORM OF ACTION.LCvR1.1 Purpose and Scope <strong>of</strong> Rules.These local civil rules are promulgated to supplement the Federal Rules <strong>of</strong> CivilProcedure with local court procedure. Appendix I contains a listing <strong>of</strong> General Orders whichare available from the Court Clerk or on the Court’s website, www.okwd.uscourts.gov.LCvR1.2(a)Rules <strong>of</strong> Procedure.The rules <strong>of</strong> procedure in any proceeding in this Court shall be as prescribedby the laws <strong>of</strong> the United States, the rules <strong>of</strong> the Supreme Court <strong>of</strong> the United States, theFederal Rules <strong>of</strong> Civil Procedure, the Federal Rules <strong>of</strong> Criminal Procedure, any applicablerules <strong>of</strong> the United States Court <strong>of</strong> Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and these local rules.(b)Where in any proceeding or in any instance there is no applicable rule <strong>of</strong>procedure, a judge may prescribe the same.(c)The trial judge has discretion in any civil or criminal case to waive anyrequirement <strong>of</strong> these local rules when the administration <strong>of</strong> justice requires.(d)These local rules shall be known as the Local Civil Rules <strong>of</strong> the United States<strong>District</strong> Court for the <strong>Western</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oklahoma</strong>.
