(d)These rules supersede all previous criminal court rules promulgated by this Courtor any judge <strong>of</strong> this Court. They shall govern all applicable criminal proceedings brought inthis Court after they take effect. They also shall apply to all criminal proceedings pending atthe time they take effect, except to the extent that, in the opinion <strong>of</strong> the Court, the applicationthere<strong>of</strong> would not be feasible or would work an injustice.(e)These local criminal rules shall be known as the Local Criminal Rules <strong>of</strong> theUnited States <strong>District</strong> Court for the <strong>Western</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oklahoma</strong>. They may be cited as“LCrR____."LCrR1.3 Applicability <strong>of</strong> Local Civil Rules.To avoid unnecessary repetition, where local rules are equally applicable to bothcriminal and civil practice, specific reference is made herein to the appropriate local civil rule.Where appropriate in a criminal context, the following local civil rules are also deemedapplicable to criminal cases: LCvR62.2 Supersedeas Bonds and Other Security; LCvR67.1Deposit and Withdrawal <strong>of</strong> Funds; LCvR67.2 Disbursement <strong>of</strong> Registry Funds.II.PRELIMINARY PROCEEDINGS.LCrR3.1 Criminal Case Cover Sheet.A completed criminal case cover sheet, as provided by the Court Clerk’s Office, shallaccompany every criminal case initiated in this Court.LCrR4.1 Sealing <strong>of</strong> Warrants and Complaints.Upon written motion <strong>of</strong> the government, search warrants, criminal complaints, arrestwarrants, and supporting affidavits may be sealed by order <strong>of</strong> a judicial <strong>of</strong>ficer. Seal ordersshall automatically expire upon return being made on a search warrant or the initial appearance<strong>of</strong> any named defendant. The Court may extend a seal order for good cause shown by thegovernment in either the original or a subsequent motion. This rule shall apply to requested-38-
