LCrR53.3Attorney Communication with Jurors.LCvR47.1 applies to criminal cases.LCrR57.1 Committee on Local Criminal Court Rules.The Court hereby constitutes a committee on local criminal rules comprised <strong>of</strong> 5members <strong>of</strong> the bar <strong>of</strong> this Court whose practice is primarily criminal, including as permanentmembers, the U.S. Attorney and the Federal Public Defender <strong>of</strong> this <strong>District</strong>, or theirdesignees. The Court Clerk or the Clerk’s designee shall also be a permanent member <strong>of</strong> thecommittee. The Chief Judge shall appoint committee members for terms <strong>of</strong> no more than 3years.This committee is established for the purpose <strong>of</strong> receiving comments andrecommendations from any member <strong>of</strong> the Bar <strong>of</strong> this Court or any other interested person, aswell as updating these rules on a regular basis. The committee shall meet annually or asnecessary.LCrR57.2Attorneys.(a) Applicability <strong>of</strong> Civil Rules. The provisions <strong>of</strong> LCvR83.2(a) Roll <strong>of</strong> Attorneys,(b) Committee on Admissions and Grievances, (c) Procedure for Admission, (d) Eligibility,and (e) Reciprocity; LCvR83.5 Attorney Withdrawal from Case; and LCv83.6 Discipline bythe Court, are applicable to these local criminal rules and are not repeated. Certain otherprovisions are repeated for emphasis.(b)Attorneys for the United States. Attorneys who are employed or retained bythe United States or its agencies may practice in this Court in all cases or proceedings in whichthey represent the United States or such agencies.(c)Admission Pro Hac Vice. Any attorney who is eligible for admission to the Bar<strong>of</strong> this Court may, in the discretion <strong>of</strong> a judge <strong>of</strong> this Court, be granted temporary admissionto practice in a pending case. Attorneys requesting such admission are required to attach totheir motion a completed Request for Admission Pro Hac Vice form provided by the Court-52-
