Th emodern world dominates here, with the extensiveforecourt of the pet rol station contrasting starklywith the more traditional properties on the northside of the road to the west of The Croft. Tarmacdominates here and at the entrance to The Croft,with a large area of hard su rfacing in front of theParish Room also contributing to the reduction inhistoric character in this pa rt of the Conservatio nArea.Area.
