- Case study: Surrey, BC<br />
Significant progress towards stimulating private sector development in Surrey’s city<br />
centre was made by amending the City’s Development Cost Charges (DCC’s) Bylaw. It<br />
allows for a reduction of development cost charges in the city centre for high-density<br />
residential units as part of a two-year pilot project running until 2005.<br />
