There is a need to implement the fullrisk management cycle to follow up and manageidentified risk, Figure 1 Risk Management cycle.The intention of the seminar has been toanchor the understanding of the importance of riskmanagement, and what risk management is. Thisobjective was targeted through practical examplesfrom industry and authorities, to give the completepicture on ”how and why” to do risk management.• Learnings from actual recent accidentalevents (e.g. Gulf of Mexico) will be used toillustrate the risk management process 100participants, target group is Russian authorities,oil and gas company managers, designersFigure 1.
