32<strong>Mammography</strong> <strong>Workbook</strong>Select Patient Functions Menu > Mammo MaintenanceFigure 2.23 Mammo Record2. The Mass Information category for the selected patient will be displayed and include thefollowing demographic information:· Date of Birth· Social Security Number· Medical Record Number· X-Ray Film Number· Exam Date· Last Modified Date and InitialsThe current number of Mass Records will also be displayed.© 2009 Computer Programs and Systems, Inc.
General Information 33Select Patient Functions Menu > Mammo Maintenance > Mass InformationFigure 2.24 Mass Information Page3. The following options may be selected:· Recall to display the previous record category (Recall).4. Select the following to record:· Mass Number: Up to 5 separate masses may be recorded. This field automatically defaults to1 when this record category is accessed. To remove all information for the indicated massnumber, select Delete. The system will prompt for confirmation.· Location: Enter L, R, or B to indicate within which breast the mass is located.This field isrequired to complete the category.· Shape: Enter the defined mass shape code ,enter a question mark (?) or select themagnifying glass icon to display a Mass Shape code look-up table. These codes are sitespecific; for example: Irregular, Round, etc.· Region: Enter the defined region code ,enter a question mark (?) or select the magnifyingglass icon to display a Mass Region code look-up table.These codes are site specific; forexample: Right upper quadrant, Right lower quadrant, etc.· Margins: Enter the defined margin code ,enter a question mark (?) or select the magnifyingglass icon to display a Margins code look-up table.
