Print the Repeat Recalls Letters/Lists – Prints the patient letters and lists of patients due toreturn for the physicians (must be generated from the same workstation that generated theRecall Report).3. Print the patient address Labels – Prints patient address labels to be placed on recall letterenvelopes.4. Update – This updates the mammogram records with the technologist initials, date andcomments. This is applied to the recall page of the mammogram record. It is very importantthat the letters/lists are checked for accuracy, because once the records have been updated,the recall cannot be regenerated again.5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the 3 rd Recall.Printing the Repeat Recall ReportThe Repeat Recalls Report will include patients who have not responded to the original recallletter within a specified period of time. It will sort exam date followed by patient name. This reportcreates a file build on the terminal where it was generated for which the information for printingletters, lists, and labels is stored. Therefore, repeat recall letters, lists, and labels must begenerated from this terminal.The Update Recall Record must be executed from this sameterminal as well.Update Repeat Recall RecordThe Update Recall Record option will update the patient’s mammogram record included in thecurrent recall and record the technologist’s initials. Records are updated based on the informationgenerated for the Recall Report and the Repeat Recall Report. An Update Recall RecordReport is also generated to provide a record of the patients that were included in the currentrecall. It also includes the date, any comments that may have been added, and the initials of theperson that generated the report. After the update, the mammogram record is only used todocument recall information. When the patient comes in for the recall mammogram, a newmammogram record will be created. Update recall record must be executed after the recall filebuild and must be executed from the same terminal that generated the recall report.
