Its f<strong>in</strong>ancial base is 111 billion yen, <strong>in</strong>vested by the government, and itsoperation is funded by <strong>in</strong>vestment profits, a subsidy from the government and private donations.Eligible countriesWorldwideWho can receive a grant? Applicants must have the capabilities necessary <strong>for</strong> implement<strong>in</strong>g the planned projects. When the applicants are organizations, applicants must not be commercial organizations. The receipt of grants or support from the Japan Foundation must not violate any laws,regulations, or ord<strong>in</strong>ances.
