Its financial base is 111 billion yen, invested by the government, and itsoperation is funded by investment profits, a subsidy from the government and private donations.Eligible countriesWorldwideWho can receive a grant? Applicants must have the capabilities necessary for implementing the planned projects. When the applicants are organizations, applicants must not be commercial organizations. The receipt of grants or support from the Japan Foundation must not violate any laws,regulations, or ordinances.
