4. Notwithstanding paragraph 1, the Licensee may dispose of or relinquish operationalcontrol over any relevant asset as is specified in any notice given under paragraph 2 incircumstances where:(a)(b)the Authority confirms in writing that it consents to such disposal orrelinquishment (which consent may be made subject to the acceptance by theLicensee or any third party in favour of whom the relevant asset is proposed tobe disposed or operational control is proposed to be relinquished of suchconditions as to the Authority may specify); orthe Authority does not inform the Licensee in writing of any objection to suchdisposal or relinquishment of control within the notice period referred to inparagraph 2.5. In this Condition:"disposal""relevant asset"includes any sale, gift, lease, licence, mortgage, charge or thegrant of any encumbrance or any other disposition to a thirdparty;means any asset which is necessary to enable the Licensee toundertake the Licensed Activities in accordance with theprovisions of the Sector Law and this Licence, including anyinterest in land upon which any such asset is situated.Condition 7: Provision of information to the Authority1. The Licensee shall furnish to the Authority, in such manner and at such times as theAuthority may require, such information and shall procure and furnish to it such reports asthe Authority may consider necessary in the light of the Conditions or as it may require forthe purpose of performing the functions assigned to it by or under the Sector Law.2. Without prejudice to the generality of paragraph 1, the Authority may call for the furnishingof accounting information which is more extensive than, or differs from, that required to beprepared and supplied to the Authority under Condition 13.3. The power of the Authority to call for information under paragraph 1 is without prejudice tothe power of the Authority to call for information under or pursuant to any other Conditionof this Licence or under or pursuant to the Sector Law or any other enactment.4. In this Condition, "information" shall include any documents, analysis, accounts, meterreadings, estimates, returns or reports (whether or not prepared specifically at the requestof the Authority) of any description and in any format specified by the Authority.Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC Licence 1-May-2005 Page - 24 -
Condition 8: Co-operation with and provision of information to the PWP1. The Licensee shall furnish to the PWP, in such manner and at such times as theAuthority may direct, such information as the Authority may consider necessary toenable the PWP to perform the functions assigned to it under the Sector Law or itsLicence.2. Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph 1, the Licensee shall:(a)(b)comply with the information exchange and reporting arrangements provided forin the Grid Code, insofar as the same are applicable to it; andprepare a monthly report (the "Monthly Dispatch Report") in accordance withCondition 31:(i)(ii)the form and content of which shall be approved by the Authority andwhich the Licensee shall, within 2 months of the issue of this Licencepropose to the Authority for its approval; andwhich shall be submitted to the Authority and to the PWP in electronicand paper form by the 15th day of each calendar month.3. The Licensee shall cooperate with the PWP in determining:(a)(b)(c)which Ancillary Services should be procured by the PWP pursuant to existingagreements between it and Licensed Generators and/or LicensedGenerators/Desalinators;where New Capacity is to be located; andAncillary Services required to be provided by New Capacity to be procured bythe PWP taking due account of the matters to be assessed by the Licensee inthe statement referred to in Condition 27.Condition 9: Co-operation with and provision of information to Licensed DistributionSystem Operators1. The Licensee shall furnish to each affected Licensed Distribution System Operator, insuch manner and at such times as the Authority may direct, such information as theAuthority may consider necessary to enable such Licensed Distribution System Operatorto perform the functions assigned to it under the Sector Law or its Licence.2. The Licensee shall co-operate, to such extent as the Authority may direct, with anyrelevant Licensed Distribution System Operator in performing its functions under theSector Law and this Licence so as to enable any such Licensed Distribution SystemOperator to perform its functions under the Sector Law and its Licence.Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC Licence 1-May-2005 Page - 25 -
