EmployeesRR employees must make every effort to find themselves an alternative role. It istheir responsibility to do the following:abcdefghijdiscuss preference for redeployment, voluntary redundancy orretirement <strong>and</strong> any development needs or support with DM/linemanager (or RO)discuss individual circumstances with their DM/line manager (orRO) <strong>and</strong> disabled employees should consider seeking occupationalhealth advicekeep skills profile up-to-date on SharePoint (core Defra) <strong>and</strong>prepare themselves for any recruitment process they attendco-operate with AMs <strong>and</strong> their DMs (line managers), RO <strong>and</strong> othersinvolved in the redeployment processactively seek <strong>and</strong> apply for suitable vacancies <strong>and</strong> attend interviewsnot refuse reasonable alternative employment opportunitiesnotify their DM/line manager <strong>and</strong> RO as to whether or not they arewilling to accept an offer of appointment or trial periodkeep records of applications, interviews, training undertaken as wellas outcomes of job applicationsbe available for work, unless on authorised absence or sicknessabsence, provide as much notice as possible to their linemanager/AM/DM of any proposed absence <strong>and</strong> make realisticarrangements to be able to be contactedattend review meetings as outlined in this policy <strong>and</strong> procedure.29 | P age
