This will enable you to apply for posts inadvance of other internal and external applicants and also to apply for vacanciesthrough CS Vacs and CS Gateway.You will be sent details of vacancies at your grade from SSD (Agencies not usingSSD state process) and, if you have the necessary skills and competencies, you willbe considered for these vacancies, along with other employees on the Defra networkRedeployment Register, before any other candidates.You can also apply for posts on CS Vacs (website). This is a website set up to giveCivil Servants, at risk of redundancy, priority in accessing vacancies within the CivilService. Civil Servants who are not at risk of redundancy and external candidatescannot apply for these vacancies.CSGateway (website) is another website which advertises a range of jobs within theCivil Service which you should access to find alternative employment.You will remain on the RR for at least three months if you are not successful inobtaining a post within that time. If after three months you have not found a post wewill review your situation and invite you to a meeting to discuss the options availableto you. You may be accompanied at this meeting by an accredited Trade Unionrepresentative or by a work colleague.We will continue to seek redeployment opportunities for you for another threemonths. During this period we will work with the Cabinet Office and trade unions toplan future actions and avoid compulsory redundancy.52 | P age
