Night Transfer<br />
Transferring in<strong>com</strong>ing calls to a particular station(s) for offhour<br />
answering.<br />
Operator Station<br />
Also known as the attendant station, this system station is programmed<br />
to ring when users dial the operator; usually considered<br />
the central message desk of the system although multiple<br />
attendant stations are possible<br />
Paging<br />
This feature allows station users to dial-up customer provided<br />
loudspeaker paging equipment and page over externally placed<br />
loudspeakers and determines what paging zones, if any, a station<br />
can page over.<br />
Prime Line<br />
A line designated to a particular telephone and automatically<br />
selected when the handset is lifted.<br />
Privacy<br />
Line feature, assigned by the programmer, to allow only one<br />
station to access a line at any time; no other station has access<br />
to the line unless the user makes it available through conferencing.<br />
Programmable Buttons Each telephone or station has buttons<br />
that can be user-programmed for autodialing numbers or feature<br />
codes, or other special purpose dialing requirements.<br />
Pulse/Tone Switching<br />
Changing from pulse/rotary dial signals to tone/DTMF signals.<br />
