• To clear a DSS, speed dial, autodial or feature button<br />
assignment,<br />
1. SELECT OPTIONS.<br />
2. SELECT NEXT until FEAT appears.<br />
3. SELECT FEAT.<br />
4. SELECT NEXT until CLEAR is displayed.<br />
5. SELECT CLEAR.<br />
6. PRESS programmable button to clear.<br />
7. SELECT EXIT to end.<br />
6.4.1 SPECIAL PURPOSE FEATURE BUTTONS<br />
Response Message Button<br />
This program lets you set up a button to be used for making a nonverbal<br />
response to a SOHVA or an inter<strong>com</strong> call. The response<br />
appears in the display of the calling station.<br />
• To assign a button for nonverbal response:<br />
1. PRESS INTERCOM AND DIAL **1.<br />
2. PRESS the programmable button you want to use for message<br />
access.<br />
3. DIAL 5.<br />
4. DIAL a message number (0 through 9).<br />
Note: Programmed messages available for use are created by the<br />
system attendant and are listed in a table on page 51 .<br />
5. PRESS SPEAKER to end.<br />
