In England, itshould be noted that a revised inspection framework wasintroduced in January 2012. <strong>NASUWT</strong> <strong>Representatives</strong> willbe given information and advice about the new frameworkduring the Autumn of 2011.After the Inspectionl Inspectors are required to make an oral report to theheadteacher immediately following the inspection – anyinconsistencies at this point must be raised.l ● A full debriefing must then take place, at which any staff maybe invited to attend, although this usually includes only thesenior management team (SMT). This is another opportunityfor staff to raise inconsistencies with the inspector.l ● Where there are any issues where members feel they havebeen judged unfairly, the <strong>NASUWT</strong> Representative mustreport this to the Local Association Secretary.l ● The final report must be completed within six calendarweeks of the inspection team leaving the school. The finalprepublication draft should be sent to the school forchecking after the feedback meetings. The school has fiveworking days to comment on the draft. Factual errors mustbe corrected. Judgements in the report cannot be changedunless factual errors have a significant bearing on them.Where the school is given a notice to improve, or is felt by aninspection team to require special measures, the <strong>NASUWT</strong>Representative should inform the Local Association Secretaryimmediately.For advice and help ˚ Local Association ˚ Regional Centre ˚ National Executive
