Tore Nielse.~Fig. 2. The head of the female specimen of Platychirus angustatus Zett.with the third antenna1 joints roundish, and the aristae broadly flattened. To the right a normal antenna. The specimen of Platyclzirus angustatus Zett., collected atGimra, Ry: Sola, on the 29th of August 1962, shows an interestingdeviation in the third antenna1 joints as well as in thearistae. The normal third joint in this species is of a rather rzctangularshape, while in the specimen from Gimra it is roundish(Fig. 2).The aristae are also interesting because they look deformedand are very different from the normal threadlike type. Leftand right aristae are both laterally flattened, broad and of shortlength.
