Fig. 43), posterior rowreduced and not so easy to see because of their diminutivenessand the particularly light colour of ocellar area here. Posteriorpart of ocellar area not elevated from head capsule, and seenfrom above sides of head forms a straight line from anterior rowof ocelli to neck. At least three, perhaps four, setae on ocellararea. Frontal piece apparently with four setae within ocelli, butassymetrically placed (probably an accidental circumstance).Nasale reasonably denticulated, protruding, front margin noticeablyprojecting from truncate corners of frontal piece. Frontmargin of nasale convex, much shorter than epicranial suture,but rather broad in proportion to rest of front margin of frontalpiece: a:b = 0.27. Antennae (Fig. 44) slender, second joint:i = 2.5. Third joint a little longer than first and second, whichare of equal length, and twice as long as third. Mandible (Fig.39) not very slender, retinaculum rather lumpy, relatively longin proportion to mandible : r :ar = 0.2. Maxillary palpi (Fig. 45)
