RiverRevitalization can introduce a broad range of benefits that will enhance DanubeValley livability and result in greater economic prosperity. create an adequate territorial planning emphasis on protecting natural andcultural heritage, biological diversity and land use of renewable naturalresources directly benefit of local communities.The above mentioned four criterion subclasses were related to theFORECAST project (Facilitating the application of Output from REsearch and CAseSTudies on Ecological Responses to hydro-morphological degradation andrehabilitation) preliminary restoration and revitalization measures (Figure 2), in orderto be analyzed in the next phase Comprehensive Danube River’s RevitalizationAssessment and preparation of the Best Practices Danube River’s RevitalizationManual.
