antemortem inspection(a) With the exception of exotic livestock offered for slaughterat mobile slaughtering establishments, all exotic livestockrequired by this part to be identified as "Oklahoma Suspects"shall be tagged with a serially numbered metal ear tag bearingthe term "Oklahoma Suspect".(b) All exotic Livestock required by this part to be identifiedas "Oklahoma Condemned" shall be tagged with a serially numberedmetal ear tag bearing the term "Oklahoma Condemned".(c) The devices described in Subsections (a) and (b) of thisSection shall be the official devices or identification of exoticlivestock required to be identified as "Oklahoma Suspect" or"Oklahoma Condemned" as provided in this part.PART 20. POSTMORTEM INSPECTION35:37-<strong>11</strong>-44. Extent and time of postmortem inspectionA careful postmortem examination and inspection shall be madeof the carcasses and parts thereof of all exotic livestockslaughtered at official establishments. The inspection andexamination shall be made at the time of slaughter unless,because of unusual circumstances, prior arrangements acceptableto the Director have been made in specific cases by the circuitsupervisor, for making the inspection and examination at a latertime.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-45. Identification of carcass, severed parts, and theanimal from which derivedThe head, tail, tongue, thymus gland, and all viscera of eachslaughtered animal, and all blood and other parts of the animalto be used in the preparation of meat food products or medicalproducts, shall be handled in a manner as to identify them fromthe rest of the carcass and as being derived from the particularanimal involved, until the postmortem examination of the carcassand parts thereof has been completed.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-46. Retention of carcasses and partsEach carcass, including all detached organs and other parts,in which any pathological lesion or other condition is found thatmight render the meat or any part unfit for food purposes, oradulterated, would require a subsequent inspection, and theanimal shall be retained by the inspector at the time ofinspection. The identity of every retained carcass, detachedorgan, or other part shall be maintained until the finalinspection has been completed. Retained carcasses shall not bewashed or trimmed unless authorized by the inspector.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-47.
