tuberculosis in 35:37-<strong>11</strong>-84 shall apply for actinomycosis,actinobacillosis, and carcasses of livestock with generalizedlesions. <strong>Exotic</strong> livestock with these disease shall be condemned.(b) Carcasses of livestock in a well-nourished condition showinguncomplicated localized lesions of actinomycosis oractinobacillosis may be passed for human food after the infectedorgans or other infected parts have been removed and condemned,except as provided in Subsection (c) and (d) of this Section.(c) Heads affected with actinomycosis or actinobacillosis,including the tongue, shall be condemned, except that when thedisease of the jaw is slight, strictly localized, and withoutsuppuration, fistulous tracts, or lymph node involvement, thetongue, if free from disease, may be passed, or, when the diseaseis slight and confined to the lymph nodes, the head including thetongue, may be passed for human food after the affected nodeshave been removed and condemned.(d) When the disease is slight and confined to the tongue, withor without involvement of the corresponding lymph nodes, the headmay be passed for human food after removal and condemnation ofthe tongue and corresponding lymph nodes.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-61. Neoplasms(a) An individual organ or other part of a carcass affected witha neoplasm shall be condemned. If there is evidence of metastasisor the general condition of the animal has been adverselyaffected by the size, position, or nature of the neoplasm, theentire carcass shall be condemned.(b) Carcasses affected with malignant lymphoma shall becondemned.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-62. Pigmentary conditions; melanosis, xanthosis,ochronosis, etc.(a) Except as provided in 35:37-<strong>11</strong>-68 carcasses of livestockshowing generalized pigmentary deposits shall be condemned.(b) The affected parts of carcasses showing localized pigmentarydeposits of a character as to be unwholesome or adulterated shallbe removed and condemned.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-63. Abrasions, bruises, abscesses, pus, etc.All slight, well-limited abrasions on the tongue and innersurface of the lips and mouth, when without lymph nodeinvolvement shall be carefully excised, leaving only sound,normal tissue, that may be passed for human food. Any organ orother part of a carcass that is badly bruised or that is affectedby an abscess, or a suppurating sore shall be condemned; and whenthe lesions are of a character or extent as to affect the wholecarcass, the whole carcass shall be condemned. Portions ofcarcasses that are contaminated by pus or other diseased materialshall be condemned.
