condition that rendered emergency slaughter necessary, thecarcass shall be condemned.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-74. Carcasses of immature exotic livestockCarcasses of immature exotic livestock are unwholesome andshall be condemned if:(1) The meat has the appearance of being water-soaked, isloose, flabby, tears easily, and can be perforated with thefingers; or(2) Its color is grayish-red; or(3) Good muscular development as a whole is lacking,especially noticeable on the upper shank of the leg, wheresmall amounts of serous infiltrates or small edematous patchesare sometimes present between the muscles; or(4) The tissues that later develops as the fat capsule of thekidneys is edematous, dirty yellow, or grayish red, tough, andintermixed with islands of fat.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-75. Unborn and stillborn animalsAll unborn and stillborn animals shall be condemned and nohide or skin shall be removed from the carcass within a room inwhich edible products are handled.35:37-<strong>11</strong>-76. Livers affected with carotenosis; livers designatedas "telangiectatic", "sawdust", or "spotted"(a) Livers affected with carotenosis shall be condemned.(b) Bovidae, Cervidae, and Antilocapridae livers showing theconditions sometimes designated as "telangiectatic," "sawdust,"or "spotted" shall be disposed of as follows:(1) When any or all of the conditions are slight in theorgan, the whole organ shall be passed for human food withoutrestriction.(2) When any or all of the conditions are more severe thanslight and involve less than one-half of the organ, while inthe remainder of the organ the conditions are slight ornonexistent, the remainder shall be passed for human foodwithout restriction and the other portion shall be condemned.(3) When any or all of the conditions are more severe thanslight and involve one-half or more of the organ, the wholeorgan shall be condemned.(4) The division of an organ into two parts as contemplatedin this Paragraph for disposition, shall be accomplished byone cut through the organ. This, of course, does not prohibitincisions that are necessary for inspection.(c) "Telangiectatic," "sawdust," or "spotted" livers and partsof livers that are condemned for human food may be shipped froman official establishment only for purposes other than human foodin accordance with 35:37-<strong>11</strong>-100.
