Receiveda DUC for a daylight attack on iron andsteel works at Yawata, Japan, in Aug 1944.Moved to Tinian in the spring <strong>of</strong> 1945for further operations against targets inJapan. Participated in mining operations,bombardment <strong>of</strong> strategic targets, and incendiaryraids on urban areas.
