<strong>Manual</strong> OperationEditing Text and NumeralsEditing Numerals. As described in Numeric Keypad on page 2–14, the parametersselected via the numeric keypad can be directly modified. To select the parameters,enter the figure and then confirm it by pressing the ENT key on the cursorkeypad. If a correction is required during entry, the figure in front of the cursorcan be erased and overwritten by means of the CLR key on the cursor keypad.For this purpose, the cursor can be shifted with the keys and from the end tothe required position.Editing Text. Text entries (for example, in the RF:STO RF menu under EDITTEXT...) are possible using the cursor keys and the soft keys.A box with the characters available is shown under the text to be modified. Therequired character can be selected by means of cursor keys , , and andinserted in the entry line with the GETCHAR soft key. The cursor automaticallymoves to the next position. If a character is to be inserted in the text, the cursorcan be moved to the position using the RIGHT and LEFT soft keys.
