<strong>Manual</strong> OperationPressing the ALARM key in the MAIN FUNCTION block causes the alarmregister to be displayed (see Figure 2–32).Figure 2–32: ALARM Register menuAlarm messages are entered in the register in chronological order. The latestentry is entered in the lowest line. The display mode is such that the line enteredlast is displayed at the bottom of the screen when the LINE NEWEST soft key ispressed. The number at the beginning of each line indicates the currently usedline of the alarm register. Any line of the alarm register can be displayed byentering a number (terminate with ENT) or by means of the cursor keys(provided LINE MAN is first selected). In this case, the NEWEST LINE field isblanked. Newly arriving messages continue to be entered. The current alarmmessage is displayed when the LINE NEWEST soft key is pressed again. Theindication is switched back to the current alarm message. The register contains1<strong>00</strong>0 lines. If this number is attained, entered messages are automaticallyoverwritten starting at line 0. In this case, the entry in line 0 is no longer theoldest but the latest entry.Three entries in the alarm register are made automatically by the <strong>DDS2<strong>00</strong></strong>without an alarm message being received:Date and time when the register was cleared (REG.
