Graduate Teacher Loan/Scholarship (GTS)The Graduate Teacher Loan/Scholarship awards are available to students currently employed as a licensed classroomteacher in a Mississippi public school who are pursuing a first master's degree in education. Participants may fulfill theloan-to-service obligation by continuing to work in a Mississippi public school as a classroom teacher while enrolled inthe degree program and by continuing to serve in a Mississippi public school for one year immediately following thestudent's year of participation. Participants receive reimbursement of $125 per graduate credit hour, not to exceedtwelve (12) credit hours per semester of successfully completed course work leading to a master’s degree in education.To be eligible, students must be Mississippi residents.
