SREB Doctoral Scholars Loan/Scholarship (SDSP)Southern Regional Education Board Doctoral Scholar awards are available to persons seeking a doctoral degree in aSTEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) or related field at Jackson State University, Mississippi StateUniversity, the University of Mississippi, or the University of Southern Mississippi. Participants may fulfill the loan-toserviceobligation by teaching full-time at the collegiate level for one year for each year of loan received. Participantsreceive up to $20,000 per academic year, not to exceed $60,000 over three (3) calendar years. To be eligible, studentsmust be Mississippi residents. Priority is given to racial/ethnic minority students.
