Program Expenditures and Awards SummarySFA expended a total of $30,793,513.17 on student financial aid programs for the Fiscal Year 2009. A total of$28,635,586.67 was expended on state-supported programs. An additional $2,157,926.50 was expended on other awardprograms. 31,634 awards were made to students through twenty-five (25) state-supported student financial assistanceprograms. An additional 660 awards were made to students through four (4) other programs. Some students receivedassistance through more than one program. The average award for state-supoorted student financial aid programs for FY2009 was $905.22.
