William Winter Teacher Loan/Scholarship (WWTS)William Winter Teacher Loan/Scholarship awards are available to juniors and seniors seeking a first bachelor’s degreeat a Mississippi college or university in a program of study leading to a Class "A" educator's license. Participants mayfulfill the loan-to-service obligation by working in a Mississippi public school for one year for each year of loanreceived. To be eligible, students must be Mississippi residents with a 2.5 GPA. Students must attend full-time andmust have passed the Praxis 1. Participants receive up to $4,000 per year, not to exceed $8,000 for a maximum of two(2) years or four (4) semesters.
