Nursing Teacher Stipend (NTSP)Nursing Teacher Stipends are available to licensed registered nurses seeking a master’s degree in nursing or a doctoratein nursing at a Mississippi college or university. Participants may fulfill the loan-to-service obligation by teaching in anaccredited Mississippi school of nursing for one year for each year of loan received. Participants in master's degreeprograms receive $1,000 per month, not to exceed one (1) calendar year or $12,000. Participants in doctorate programsreceive $1,000 per month, not to exceed two (2) calendar years or $24,000. To be eligible, students must be Mississippiresidents with a 3.0 GPA. Students must attend full-time and must also be recipients of the Nursing EducationLoan/Scholarship - Master's or Ph.D. awards.
