State-Supported Programs: FY 2009 Funding DisparitiesDue to the availability of appropriated General Funds, some student financial aid programs cannot be fully funded. For these programs, money is awarded on afirst-come, first-served basis until funds have been exhausted. The table below shows the total number of eligible applicants, the number of applicants whoreceived awards, the calculated rate at which programs were funded, and the average award amount.
