Higher Education Legislative Plan for Needy Students (HELP)Higher Education Legislative Program awards are available to academically qualified undergraduate students withdemonstrated financial need, pursuing full-time a first certificate, associate's, or bachelor's degree at a Mississippicollege or university. Students may receive tuition and required fees for no more than ten (10) semesters, regardless ofthe dollar amount received. To be eligible, students must first receive the HELP scholarship as a freshman orsophomore. Students must be Mississippi residents with a 2.5 GPA and a composite score of 20 on the national ACT.Students also must have completed a specific high school core curriculum. Students must complete the FAFSA (FreeApplication for Federal Student Aid) and have a 2-year average adjusted gross income less than $36,500 per year.
