Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grant (MTAG)Mississippi Resident Tuition Assistance Grants are available to Mississippi residents pursuing full-time a firstcertificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree at an approved Mississippi college or university. Freshmen andsophomores receive up to $500 per academic year and juniors and seniors receive up to $1,000 per academic year for amaximum of eight (8) semesters. To be eligible, students must have a 2.5 GPA and a composite score of 15 on thenational ACT (or 720 SAT). Recipients must NOT be eligible for full Pell grants.
