Secondary Music Methods (Edwards)The psychology and principles of teaching in the middle and high schools (6-12); a criticalevaluation of available materials and current methods, both vocal and instrumental proceduresbeing stressed. (B.A. Theory Emphasis majors mayelect a total of one unit of composition without an additional fee. All other music majors willbe charged at the rate of $250 per .25 unit.) There will be no refund of fees for applied musiccourses dropped after the end of the second week of the semester.B.A. candidates may enroll in any area of applied music and, upon completion of one unit of credit,will receive elective credit toward graduation.
