圓 跟 忍 者 鞋 。 這 雙 鞋 只 有 底 部 , 穿 時 需
用 膠 帶 從 鞋 跟 纏 繞 到 腿 。

高 跟 鞋 如 同 時 裝 一 樣 , 在 歷 史 過 程 中 , 往 往 是 一 個 人 社 會 地 位 的 標 誌 。 在 早
期 , 只 有 富 貴 人 士 才 有 可 能 穿 高 跟 鞋 , 因 為 當 時 鞋 跟 的 設 計 主 要 起 裝 飾 作 用 ,
讓 穿 戴 者 散 發 出 一 種 雍 容 華 貴 的 氣 質 。 隨 著 近 一 個 世 紀 科 技 的 發 展 , 時 尚 設 計
師 把 新 的 材 料 和 工 具 加 入 了 高 跟 鞋 製 作 中 , 改 變 了 高 跟 鞋 行 走 不 變 的 缺 點 , 讓
時 尚 高 跟 鞋 變 成 了 人 們 日 常 生 活 中 的 一 部 分 。
Fashion shoes, like clothing, have often symbolized a person’s social status. Heels were
designed not for walking, but more as works of art displayed by the wearer. Someone wearing
fashion shoes in the past naturally gave off a certain elegance and beauty that is associated
with affluence and class. However, with the development of technology in the 20th and 21st
centuries, shoe designers changed the way we see and relate to fashion shoes.

Godtsenhoven 解 釋 道 :『 在 16-17 世 紀 , 威
尼 斯 軟 木 高 底 鞋 以 鞋 跟 的 高 度 展 示 穿 戴 者
的 財 富 和 權 勢 。 今 天 的 高 跟 鞋 也 展 示 著 穿 戴
者 的 休 閒 狀 態 , 表 示 你 平 日 不 需 要 多 走 路 ,
有 司 機 開 車 帶 你 去 任 何 地 方 。 在 20 世 紀 , 科
技 的 發 展 讓 優 雅 時 尚 的 鞋 子 變 得 更 容 易 行

物 理 學 為 好 萊 塢 天 后 設 計 鞋 子 , 讓 她 們 能 夠

Prada、Ferragamo、Jean Paul Gaultier、Manolo
Blahnik、Balenciaga、Alaïa, 以 及 其 他 更 多
20-21 世 紀 極 具 影 響 力 的 設 計 師 。 展 覽 從 2015
年 9 月 3 日 -2016 年 2 月 14 日 在 安 特 衛 普 MoMu 展
出 。
“The height of Venetian chopines in the 16-17th
century were a sign of wealth, just like the high
heels of today show off a certain leisure status of
the wearer, like for example, the use of a driver
[...]. The difference is that in the 20th century, science
made it possible for elegant and fashionable
shoes to be easy and comfortable to wear. Salvatore
Ferragamo combined anatomy and physics
into his designs for Hollywood divas, who could
finally walk in high heels without pain,” explains
Karen van Godtsenhoven, the curator of “FOOT
PRINT - The Tracks of Shoes in Fashion.”
The show features iconic works of Prada,
Ferragamo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Manolo
Blahnik, Balenciaga, Alaïa, and many other
highly influential designers of the 20th and
21st centuries.
“FOOT PRINT – The Tracks of Shoes in Fashion”
is on display at MoMu in Antwerp from
2015 Sep 3 - 2016 Feb 14.
