(James Cameron), 決 定 冒 險 去 地 球 海 洋 裡 最 深 的 地 方 拍 攝
3D 電 影 “ 深 海 挑 戰 ”。 勞 力 士 再 一 次 加 入 了 這 次 探 險 , 並 在 限

款 潛 水 錶 。“ 深 海 挑 戰 ” 採 用 了 1.5 厘 米 厚 的 藍 寶 石 水 晶 大 外
殼 , 可 承 受 一 萬 兩 千 米 深 處 的 壓 力 。 這 款 手 錶 伴 隨 詹 姆 斯 經 過
了 幾 個 小 時 的 上 升 和 下 降 , 以 及 在 深 海 裡 長 時 間 的 探 索 和 拍
攝 。

In March 2012, the famous filmmaker and National
Geographic explorer James Cameron ventured to the
deepest place on our planet to film Deep Sea Challenge
3D. Rolex was of course part of the party, but
they had only 5 weeks to design and manufacture the
watch for this adventure. The result was the Deep Sea
Challenge, a large-case watch with a 1.5 centimeters
thick sapphire crystal that can withstand a water resistance
of 12,000 meters. The watch accompanied
James through his hours-long dive, as well as his
many hours of exploration and filming in the deep.
Constantly pushing the boundaries of man’s capabilities,
dive watches represent man’s thirst for
knowledge and discovery on this wondrous planet.
Perhaps, owning a dive watch puts the wearer on the
distinguished stage next to the fearless individuals
