Diagnostics<br />
The 30 pilot lights on the front panel of the module are used in conjunction with the<br />
two pushbuttons for diagnostics by the <strong>Twido</strong> <strong>controller</strong>.<br />
The display block on the front panel of master module TWD NOI 10M3 allows<br />
simpli ed local diagnostics to be performed by displaying the slaves present on the<br />
AS-Interface.<br />
Software set-up<br />
AS-Interface is con gured using <strong>Twido</strong>Suite (1) software.<br />
The services offered are based on the principle of simplicity:<br />
b Management of pro le tables, parameters and data by the master, in a way that is<br />
transparent to the user.<br />
b Topological addressing of I/O: each AS-Interface slave de ned has a topological<br />
address assigned to it, in a way that is transparent to the user.<br />
Each AS-Interface sensor/actuator is seen by the <strong>Twido</strong> programmable <strong>controller</strong> in<br />
the same way as any “In-rack” I/O.<br />

(1) When analogue and discrete modules are connected simultaneously to a system, the<br />
analogue modules use addresses 1 to 31 in bank A. When an analogue module uses a certain<br />
address, the module addresses having the same number in bank B cannot be occupied by<br />
slaves in banks A/B.<br />
