Bevor Schmuck seinen ursprünglichen
Glanz und seine Schönheit zurück
erlangt, muss das jeweilige Stück von
Oxidation, Fett, Make-up und sonstigen
Rückständen befreit werden...
1) Das Schmuckstück wird im Ultraschallgerät
gereinigt und gründlich ausgewaschen.
2) Es folgt eine Klarspülung im Wasserbad.
3) Jetzt wird das Schmuckstück in das
Entoxidationsbad getaucht (Achtung: weiße
und gelbe Legierungen erfordern getrennte
Entoxidationsbäder, damit es zu keinem
Ionenaustausch und somit zu Verfärbungen
kommt).
4) Es folgt eine Klarspülung im Wasserbad.
5) Anschließend das Schmuckstück in Spiritus
tauchen, damit das Wasser verdrängt wird
(ausgenommen Zuchtperlen, weiche Steine
wie Bernstein, Koralle, Türkis oder Elfenbein).
6) Jetzt wird das Schmuckstück in der beheizten
Trockentrommel mit Sägespänen getrocknet,
so verschwinden auch hartnäckige
Wasserränder!
7) Das gereinigte Schmuckstück ist jetzt ideal
vorbereitet zum Aufpolieren.
8) Nach dem Polieren sollten Punkt 1, 2, 4, 5
und 6 wiederholt werden, um Rückstände
vom Polieren zu entfernen.
Was benötigt wird:
[ 1 ] Ultraschallgerät und das entsprechende
Reinigungskonzentrat, siehe Seite 339
[ 2 ] Bürste und Wanne zum Auswaschen,
siehe Seite 345 (Alternativ: Dampfstrahlgerät,
siehe Seite 345)
[ 3 ] Benzindose (209 109) mit Wasser
und Benzindose (209 109) mit
Entoxidationsbad, siehe Seite 336
[ 4 ] Beheizte Trockentrommel mit Sägespänen,
siehe Seite 346 (Alternativ:
Warmluftgerät oder Trockenzentrifuge,
siehe Seite 346)
[ 5 ] Poliergerät mit Wollrad und geeigneter
Polierpaste, siehe Seite 196

Brilliant service in detail!
Before jewellery is refurbished in order
to obtain its original shine, the respective
piece of jewellery must be freed
from oxidation, fat, make up and other
residues...
1) The piece of jewellery is cleaned and
thoroughly washed out in the ultrasonic
device.
2) Followed by a clear rinsing cycle in the
water bath.
3) Now, the piece of jewellery is dipped into
the deoxidising bath (Attention: white and
yellow alloys require separate deoxidising
baths so that an ionic exchange and thus
decolouring is prevented).
4) Followed by a clear rinsing cycle in the
water bath.
5) Then, dip the piece of jewellery into spirit
so that the water is displaced (except pearls,
jewellery with soft gems, i.e. amber, coral,
turquoise or ivory).
6) Now, the piece of jewellery is dried in the
heated drying drum with sawdust. So, even
persistent water spots are removed!
7) The cleaned piece of jewellery is now
perfectly prepared for the polishment.
8) After refurbishing, point 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6
should be repeated in order to remove
refurbishment residues.
