Beauty for a Purpose
We are thrilled to bring you a bit of the 20-year history of the
Avon Makeup Awards, a journey of Beauty with and for makeup
artists in Brazil.
This pioneering award is until today the only one dedicated exclusively
to makeup artists, and translates the essence of our
brand: Avon was born to create opportunities for development,
to promote self-esteem, and ultimately, to empower individuals
and causes.
Driving careers, helping make dreams come true, valuing talent
and transforming lives. This is what we have been doing for
millions of Avon Representatives, for more than a century. And
this is also what we have been doing for makeup artists for the
past 20 years.
Recording two decades of the Avon Makeup Awards means
honoring once again those who, like us, chose to express the
many different forms of beauty not only as their trade, but
above all, as their mission.
This is our homage to all of those who believe in beauty for a
purpose. Beauty that motivates. Beauty that empowers. Beauty
that moves you. Beauty that generates great accomplishments.
This is a story only Avon can tell. This is recognition only makeup
artists in Brazil can claim.
To all the artists who have shared this journey with us, our

É com imensa alegria que registramos neste livro um pouco da história dos 20 anos de
Prêmio Avon de Maquiagem, uma trajetória construída para e com os Maquiadores do Brasil.
Pioneiro e, até hoje, o único reconhecimento dedicado exclusivamente aos artistas
da maquiagem, o Prêmio traduz a essência da nossa marca: a Avon nasceu para gerar
oportunidades de desenvolvimento, promover autoestima e empoderamento.
Impulsionar carreiras, ajudar a realizar sonhos, valorizar talentos e transformar vidas. Isso
é o que fazemos, há mais de um século, para milhões de Revendedoras. E isso é o que
fazemos, há 20 anos, para os Maquiadores.
Registrar duas décadas de Prêmio Avon de Maquiagem é reverenciar, novamente, aqueles
que, assim como nós, escolheram as diversas manifestações da beleza não só como
ofício, mas, acima de tudo, como missão.
Aqui, prestamos uma homenagem a todos que acreditam em uma beleza que faz sentido.
