No ano em que a Avon lançou a linha premium de maquiagem
Avon Luxe, a premiação fez um resgate da obra de Dener, primeiro
grande estilista do Brasil, considerado “Rei do Luxo”. O historiador
de moda e estilista José Gayegos foi o responsável por reproduzir,
especialmente para o evento, croquis inéditos deixados por Dener.
Para desfilar as criações, celebridades, modelos internacionais
e new faces tomaram a passarela. As peças produzidas foram
incorporadas ao acervo mantido por Gayegos, ajudando a preservar
o legado de Dener. Assinando a beleza, Max Weber, que, neste ano,
passou a integrar o Wall of Fame.
Luxury in past and in the present
Avon launches its premium makeup line Avon Luxe, and the
award ceremony revisits the works of Brazilian pioneering
haute couture designer Dener, known as “the King of Luxury”.
Fashion historian and stylist José Gayegos reproduces original
unpublished sketches left by the late stylist. On the runway, celebrities,
international models and new faces show the original
creations. The gowns are incorporated to the historical collection
maintained by Gayegos, helping to preserve Dener’s legacy.
Max Weber, now on the Wall of Fame, signs the beauty looks.
