704x576 resolution can be obtained from MPEG site ftp://ftp.tnt.unihannover.de/pub/svc/testsequences/.<br />

Now that we have discussed test sequences, we now introduce encoding configuration used.<br />

<strong>HEVC</strong> HM encoding is employed in high quality default high delay Random Access configuration but with<br />

only first frame Intra (other Intra’s can still happen but only due to scene change), pyramid configuration<br />

of size 8, and 4 Reference Pictures. For each encoding test, the reference quantizer used (which may be<br />
