TU1 mode on average is only 0 - 2% worse in BD rate (while around 125 times faster, as shown later) as<br />
compared to HM14 on all test sets. This is highest quality mode in <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>.<br />
TU4 mode on average is only 16 - 19% worse in BD rate (while around 950 times faster, as shown later)<br />
as compared to HM14. This mode represents excellent tradeoff of quality vs speed.<br />
TU7 mode on average is 33 - 39% worse in BD rate (while around 2450 times faster, as shown later) as<br />
compared to HM14. This is the fastest software only mode in <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>.<br />
TU7gacc mode on average is also 35 - 44% worse in BD rate rate (while being around 3150 times faster,<br />
as shown later) as compared to HM14 on all test sets. This is the fastest mode in <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>Studio</strong><br />
and combines TU7 software mode with <strong>Intel®</strong> Graphics Acceleration.<br />
Now that we have completed quality analysis of various TU modes of <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Server</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>, the next<br />
obvious step is to perform analysis of encoding speed offered by each of these modes; this issue is<br />
discussed at length in the next section.<br />
