typically on average 125 times the speed of HM (range of 100 to 141 times), TU7gacc reflects a typical<br />

speedup factor of 2850 to 3500 over HM14!<br />

A side-by-side comparison of encoding speed of different modes and for the 4 different resolution test<br />

sets is shown by the bar graphs of Fig. 7B. Table 3A-3D also show that the TU7gacc mode is able to reach<br />

encoding speed of 9.5 to 14.5 fps for UHD4K content, 35 to 67 fps for HD1080p content, around 67 to 90<br />

fps for HD720p, and 126 to 153 fps for SD/XD content.<br />

Fig. 8 shows another benefit of TU7gacc as compared to TU7 in terms of its capability of reducing the load<br />

on the CPU. Thus TU7gaac is currently able to reduce the load on CPU by around 5% from around 95% to<br />

around 90% enabling CPU to be used by other applications. This is in addition to 32% encoding speedup<br />

that TU7gacc provides over TU7 while achieving identical video quality.<br />
