Die Forschungsarbeiten des IHP ermöglichen innovative
Lösungen für verschiedene Anwendungsbereiche.
Beispiele dafür sind neben der drahtlosen und Breitband-Kommunikation
die Luft- und Raumfahrt, die
Biotechnologie und Medizin, die Automobilindustrie,
die Industrieautomatisierung und die Photonik.
Das IHP ist für die Industrie, Hochschulen und andere
Forschungseinrichtungen ein gefragter Projektpartner.
Im Jahr 2009 konnten Drittmittel von mehr als 11 Mill.
Euro eingeworben werden. In mehreren nationalen und
europäischen Verbundprojekten ist das IHP koordinierend
tätig. Durch diese erfolgreiche Einwerbung von
Drittmitteln wuchs das IHP weiter auf 270 Mitarbeiter
aus 20 Ländern.
Neben den internationalen und bundesweiten Kooperationen
legt das IHP auch großen Wert auf die Zusammenarbeit
mit Firmen und Hochschulen in Brandenburg
und Berlin. So arbeitet das Institut an zahlreichen Projekten,
bei denen die regionale Kooperation mit Firmen
im Mittelpunkt steht. Mit mehreren Hochschulen betreibt
es „Gemeinsame Labore“ zu ausgewählten Themen
als eine besondere Form der Kooperation.
Dieser Jahresbericht soll Ihnen einen Überblick zu den
Forschungsprogrammen des Institutes und deren Zielen
geben. Zu ausgewählten Forschungsprojekten finden Sie
interessante Ergebnisse des Jahres 2009. Damit wollen
wir Sie nicht nur informieren, sondern auch Ihr Interesse
an einer Zusammenarbeit mit dem IHP wecken.
An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns ganz herzlich bei allen
bedanken, die unsere Erfolge möglich gemacht haben.
Von der Brandenburgischen Landesregierung und von der
Bundesregierung erhielten wir eine sehr starke Unterstützung,
womit die Voraussetzungen für unsere Arbeit
geschaffen werden konnten. Auf dieser Basis wurden die
Forschungsergebnisse mit den Ideen und dem Fleiß unserer
Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter erarbeitet.

the research of IHp provides innovative solutions for various
application areas. Apart from wireless and broadband
communications, examples include aerospace,
biotechnology and medicine, the automotive industry,
industrial automation and photonics.
For industry, universities and other research institutions
the IHp is a sought-after project partner. In 2009 external
funding amounted to more than 11 million euros.
In several national and european projects the IHp works
as a coordinator. Based on the successful fund raising
IHp continued to grow to 270 staff members from 20
countries.
In addition to international and nationwide cooperation
the IHp emphazises cooperation with companies
and universities from Brandenburg and Berlin. e. g. the
institute is working on numerous projects where the regional
cooperation with companies is a core element. As
a particular form of cooperation it operates “Joint labs”
with several universities on selected topics.
this annual report will give you an overview of the
institute´s research programs and its objectives. For selected
research projects you will find interesting results
from 2009. Hereby, we not only want to inform you, but
in addition would like to encourage you to cooperate
with the IHp.
At this point we would like to thank everyone who made
our success possible. We received very strong support
from the Federal State Government of Brandenburg and
the Federal Government of Germany laying the foundations
for our work. Based on this, with their ideas and
efforts, our staff members achieved the research results
presented here.
